Belarusian Father Frost Named Fifth Wealthiest New Year Wizard, His Residence Largest in Europe

At the end of 2013, the experts of the Agency for Development and Research in Real Estate revealed a rating of the wealthiest European New Year wizards.

Belarusian Dzied Maroz (Father Frost), the owner of the largest magic residence in Europe that occupies 15 hectares of the Belovezhskaya Pushcha ranks # 5 in the rating. The estimated cost of the demesne lands of the Belarusian Dzied Maroz is 1.052 million Euros.

The ranking is led by Jultomen (The Yule Man) from Sweden. His estate Tomteland with a vast forest area, numerous water sources and fairy–tale characters is estimated at 3.013 million Euros.

Russian Ded Moroz (Father Frost) occupies the second place with his residence in Veliky Ustyug and 10 hectares in the Vologda Region valued at 1.638 million Euros. The estimated value also includes the wizard’s personal property and transport, namely his fur coat and cap, a staff, a gifts bag, and his sledge driven by three horses.

Père Noël from the French Alps and Julenissen from Norway were recognized as number three and four richest magicians, respectively.

Joulupukki from Finland with his 10 hectares residence estimated at 736, 000 Euros follows Belarusian Dzied Maroz and ranks number six.
